/ FAQ'S

What is the purpose of the audition?

The primary reason for the audition is for every student to gain knowledge and confidence in the audition process. From our experience the more you audition, the better you become! Every student will receive one-on-one feedback that will help them to be better prepared for their next audition experience. The audition also gives each student the opportunity to be chosen as a “Standout”. These “Standout” students will participate in small group classes to gain more specialized training with our expert faculty. Our goal is to give every student a glimpse into the “real world” experience of a dance professional so that they are adequately prepared when they make the leap from studio to stage.

What can my child expect if chosen as a Standout?

Standouts will take class in their respective ballroom AND also participate in smaller classes, lending themselves to more personal attention. Standout students also receive exclusive classes offered only to Standouts. All classes have been developed specifically to enhance your young dancer's talents and abilities.

What if my child is not chosen as a Standout?

Those students not chosen as a Standout will take class in their respective ballroom from all of our expert faculty. They will get the opportunity to receive class awards and scholarships for their talent, hard work, and promise shown in these classes throughout the weekend. Every student will be challenged, inspired, HAVE FUN, and invited to participate in our final rehearsal and performance. Our goal is to prepare every student for a future in dance so they can Go In and Stand Out whether it’s in the studio, at an audition, or on the stage.

What if my child doesn’t want to pursue a career in dance?

We at The Process believe our program is beneficial to everyone, not just those wanting to pursue a career in dance. The experience each student will receive at our event helps build confidence and foster a strong work ethic, which is helpful in all aspects of life, no matter what career path they choose! We encourage every one of our students to just dance from the heart and have fun! The memories, friendships, and all around experience gained at The Process will last a lifetime!
